Kelly
Quinones Miller
2010 President |
Kelly
joined the Central Carolina Jaycees in August 2006. Her
favorite projects are the the Easter Egg Hunt and family
fun days. She has served as Secretary,
Individual Development VP, and Management VP.
Since joining, Kelly
has won Local Jaycee of the Trimester, NC Jaycee of
the Trimester, NC Jaycees Debate, NC Jaycees Write Up,
and numerous project awards. She won the Brownfield
award for 2008 and was an Armbruster nominee for 2009.
A
media relations specialist and freelance writer and
designer, Kelly holds a Masters degree in Publishing
and Writing from Emerson College in Boston and Bachelors
degrees in English and Women's Studies from the University
of North Carolina - Greensboro. |

Kamilah
Davis

Kamilah
is one of our newest chapter members. She joined the Central Carolina
Jaycees in January 2010. A Sanford native, Kamilah quickly decided to
join the chapter after her very first visit because she is extremely
involved in her community.
Kamilah
is full of ideas and ready to get a jump on her duties. The first of
her projects include Operation Cookie Drop and a shoe drive.
A
lover of learning, Kamilah attended Central Carolina Community College
and received several Associate degrees before transferring to the
University of North Carolina-Greensboro, where she currently attends. |

Amber
Dunigan
Treasurer |
Amber
joined the chapter after a little prodding by former chapter
president Hampton Rutledge. For Amber, the Jaycees are
an opportunity to meet people and try new things.
Several
of Amber's projects, such as the Community Care Fair,
have won state-level awards. Amber also brought home
the First Timer's award at mid-year convention in 2008.
She has served as Community VP, Local Director, and
Treasurer.
Amber
holds Associates degrees in Accounting and Business
Administration. She is currently back in school to continue
her educational pursuits. |

Shannon
Shuey
2010 Chair |
A long-time Jaycee, Shannon
joined the CCJCs shortly after moving to the area so that
she could meet new friends and become involved in the
community.
Since joining, Shannon
has won the State Speak Up Competition in 2008,
as well as Armbruster and numerous project awards.
Shannon was honored to
serve as 2009 president and hopes to continue helping
the chapter grow and thrive.
A University of North
Carolina alum, Shannon is Assistant Principal at SanLee
Middle School. Previously she worked as a fourth grade
teacher at Deep River Elementary. |
